DesiConvert ("we", "us", "our") is a free file conversion service owned and operated by Sajal Lamichhane, Kathmandu, Nepal. Contact: sajallamichhane31@gmail.com
We collect minimal data to operate the service. We do NOT require account registration or personal information. Anonymous usage analytics (pages visited, tool used, country) may be collected via Google Analytics to help us improve the service.
Files you upload are processed in memory and temporarily stored on our servers solely for the purpose of conversion. All files are automatically and permanently deleted within 60 seconds of conversion. We do not read, analyse, sell, or share your files with any third party.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your files under Article 6(1)(b) — performance of a contract (providing the conversion service you requested). Anonymous analytics are processed under Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests.
Uploaded files: deleted within 60 seconds. Anonymous analytics: retained for up to 26 months by Google Analytics. We retain no other personal data.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to: access your data, rectify inaccurate data, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restrict processing, data portability, and to object to processing. Since we collect no personal data beyond anonymous analytics, most rights are satisfied by default. Contact us at sajallamichhane31@gmail.com for any requests.
We use minimal cookies for theme/language preferences (stored locally in your browser). If Google AdSense ads are displayed, Google may set its own cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
We may use Google Analytics and Google AdSense, each governed by Google's own privacy policy. We do not use any other third-party data processors that receive your files.
DesiConvert is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Our servers may be located outside Nepal. If you are in the EU, transfers are covered under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of DesiConvert constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
